Nitrous Oxide Sedation

Despite improved techniques and the use of local anesthesia in dental treatments, fear of the dentist remains a reality in the population. The use of nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, is a safe and effective alternative to general anesthesia in anxious patients.

This technique allows the realization of care in an anxious patient having the will to be treated. Nitrous oxide can be used on adults as well as on children, although the patient's will is essential for its effectiveness. The effects of this gas are soothing and allow the patient to relax without altering his state of judgment.

Its speed of elimination in the body is an important advantage compared to other sedation techniques. In other words, you will not feel the effects once you leave the dentist's chair!
